The Triton 400 is a rugged, waterproof handheld GPS unit from Magellan. Magellan has reinvented the handheld GPS with the release of the Triton series handheld GPS units. The Triton 400 offers intuitive operation with everything you could ask for in a handheld GPS. The heart of the Triton 400 is the SiRFstarIII WAAS enable GPS receiver for exceptional reception and its crystal clear 2.2” color, sunlight viewable display.

The Triton 400 is also compatible with National Geographic TOPO! maps. With an SD card storage slot, you can hold a large area of National Geographic maps on an optional SD card and once the card is plugged into the GPS that detail will show on the Triton’s display. National Geographic Topo! State Series Maps are the first software to offer 1:24,000 scale mapping for the entire US that can be downloaded into a handheld GPS. These maps are downloadable onto the Magellan Triton Series handheld GPS where you can view your location on the crisp 24k USGS maps in real time. This software will also allow you to view lat/lon or UTM grids, view trail profiles along with elevation gains or losses and find trails, parks, summits and campsites all on your PC. You can even customize the maps by adding your own notes and photos.

The Triton 400 is so easy to use you will not need a user’s manual. The pre-loaded map database includes detail for North America, as well as geographic boundaries worldwide. Other features include best times for fishing and hunting, sun and moon phases, and vertical profiles.

Built-in to the Maestro is the AAA TourBook guide information.This information will provide AAA roadside assistance details as well AAA Show Your Card and Save discount locations*. Inside the slim, .7" case of the Maestro 3210 is an ultra sensitive, WAAS GPS receiver for superb GPS reception, there is also a connection for an optional external antenna. The 3.5” QVGA touch screen display allows for easy operation and viewing in any lighting condition. The built-in Li-ion battery will keep the unit powered for approximately two hours, when you are away from a power supply.

Loaded to every Maestro 3210 is the entire Navteq database for all of North America, as well as 6 million Points of Interest. Simply use the touch screen to enter a specific address or particular point of interest and the Magellan Maestro 3210 will generate a route to your destination. With the Magellan QuickSpell technology the Magellan 3210 will eliminate letter choices bringing you to your street name or POI name faster. Once you are underway the Maestro 3210 will guide you with both verbal and on screen directions to safely guide you to your destination. If you get off track, the 3210 will recalculate your route and get you back on track within seconds. If you are sitting in traffic, the Magellan SmartDetour function will route you around stopped freeway traffic.
